That would kill the DVD sales and you also have to remember you have to pay the talent as well. So it would cost a lot of money to do that. Factor that in with, where would Mark find the time to do that?? I believe A channel works with CSE and as for CJOH they seem to be in with RWE since they have a partnership with the Slots, so that limits any potential to Rogers 22 and No one I know watches that. LOL

I have been a suscriber to Rogers cable for almost 30 years and don't remember a single time that I watched the community channel!

Touching on Rotchy's point. I can't think of the last time any local channel carried an actual wrestling program. Global out of Toronto used to run (WW)ECW on Fridays at midnight but that is the closest thing to local I can remember other than Maple leaf Wrestling WAY back in the day on CHRO

Yeah, there's nothing I enjoy more on local cable than two farts waxing poetic on how writers are better than construction workers.


Wish there was at least a local channel like BITE tv out of Toronto that features wrestling.

G4 did a bit about Danny Havoc leading into his match at a CZW show and (heresay) it raised not only him but the promotion to a higher level, and I think CHRO did a W5 story about IWS a few years ago

The W5 story was mostly filmed at an IWS show in Gatineau, promoted by C*4's Mark P.

Outaouais Pro Wrestling was on Rogers 22 like twice.

I would have to agree there, this past show, about eighty percent of the people in line never heard of Cheech and Cloudy, some even thought they were the "Incredible" Hunks. It was even worse when Claudio Castgnoli came in, Hardly anyone knew who he was either. I felt like a loser because I knew who he was. Like on of those Star Trek geeks who can quote dialog from every episode.
