HOLY CRAP!!! 5.7 earthquake just hit us. Ppl in the building said its centred in Buckingham, QB. Shocked

I work on the 24th floor of a building downtown. We got flung around pretty good - it was quite the experience.... I'm glad I wasn't in the elevators.

We have construction right outside our building where they're building the expressway in Gatineau.  I feel everything start to shake.  I have a window office, so I look out and say "What the fuck are those morons doing?"  Then I notice that they're all there looking around and not doing anything.  Then I realized that we were having an earthquake. 

My group is on the 2nd floor and I swear 2 of my female colleagues were down the stairs and flying out the door before the damn thing stopped.  Most of us hang around, looking out the window to the group that went outside.  Then we got told to evacuate.  I was leaving at 2 anyway because I'm going on holiday, so I said screw this... I'm out of here.  Glad I left before they sent all government employees home because I hear the traffic was horrible just a few minutes after I got through downtown.
