I caught this on TV last night, and thought it was very interesting.  He still seems quite sad, but he's doing better than he was.

I will say this, I'll bet if it had been Leno who was suddenly pushed out and paid out, Conan wouldn't have run to the phone to call him and console him either.

I think Conan got something like $36 million.

I heard that if they'd had to cut Leno like they did Conan, it would have cost them about $150 million ... and that's what they decided to cut Conan instead (that's what I picked up from the 60 Minutes interview anyways)
