I have never seen CPW, PCW, The old UWA or the old RWE. I wish I could have. I have heard a lot of bad things about other promotions but I like to see for myself. I find that even if shows suck ass over all. There are always good points to them as well. No show I have ever seen is shit from start to finish. In all honesty I would rather see a mediocre indy show than a WWE show any day of the week.

I have been to Donny's UWA a couple of times. I have been to the "NEW" RWE and I have been to CSE,
We shall see what happens in the future with PCW

i loved old uwa always had a blast, i find all the areas promtions use same talent, well mostly, but at c4 they come out to impress

I love the fact they use talent from other places to highlight local talent. Not the usual style of bringing in  established talent to PUT OVER the local guys, granted that does happen but not always. It reminds me of the old style Territories. I love that.

I wish myself & Mrs Id could make it out your way more often. Been far too long since we were out there to see any fed.

I do what I can to shill the Ottawa & area scene on OWIE. Pete sends me results of shows he attends. (He used to write reviews too. Not so much anymore.) C4 aka Mark is great about sending press releases and results. The other guys... not so much.

I'd post a lot more content about the scene out there... if I had it.

Personally, I think the Eastern Ontario scene deserves recognition and if nothing else, the efforts of EVERY promotion and wrestler should be preserved in the historical record that is the OWIE website.


So folks... results, reviews, links to show photos, info about upcoming events, articles etc are all welcome. Feel the urge to write about anything Ottawa area wrestling? That's cool too. Got news or an idea for a story you think needs to be told? Let me know.

I'd totally take some pictures of the C4 shows but I would feel like a total doofus. Its good to know that Eastern Ontario is appreciated for fan reaction and the wrestling.
