Bloody Savage is not a flamer who hides behind a keyboard and an alias, he is a regular paying fan, plus, he has given every other fed a try, therefore his opinion IS valid.

How about the flamers who hide behind a keyboard? As the Rock Says: It doesn't matter what you think! Tongue

Maybe his opinion is valid but the whole "end of discussion" thing indicates that he doesn't care to hear anyone else's therefor he's behaving like a Message Board flamer/douche.

It was sentiments like that one from UWA Hardcore fans that caused other fans in Ontario to hate not only them but UWA Hardcore as well... whether they'd ever seen the product or not.

Even if the gate numbers for C4 are higher than any other Ottawa area feds (and thus statistical proof of C4's dominance in that area) you don't do anyone (including C4) any favors by shitting on everyone else.

AND, since opinions on who's the best are totally subjective - and thus not entirely right OR wrong - someone thinking PCW or CWA or whoever is better than C4 has just as much validity behind their opinion as Bloody Savage has about his.

In MY opinion he should have least offered or opened the door for discussion about his C4 kicks ass everyone else sucks statement instead of arrogantly stating his opinion as fact and then saying the discussion was closed.

So I offer Bloody Savage two minor FACTS

1) A "discussion" involves more than ONE person. (You can't have one with yourself.)
2) Whether C4 is the best or not YOU had nothing to do with it.

Have a nice day.

Unlike UWA Hardcore, C*4 management aren't a bunch of holier than thou pricks.

And not to slight C*4 - but claiming they're the best in a scene that sucks isn't exactly complimenting them.

I agree that C4 management are not like the former UWA Hardcore guys. That being said, there ARE a lot of people that don't think they were holier than thou pricks.

There are probably more that do.. and why is that? Maybe for a few workers or other insiders it's because of direct dealings with UWA Hardcore management but for the majority it must be something else since the Macaslands (sp) hardly ever interacted with anyone outside the curtain.

I would suggest that 90% of the negativity from the general wrestling community (mostly fans of other feds) towards UWA-H was directly generated by the holier than thou attitude of UWA Hardcore FANS. A lot of which, coincidently, was found on the UWA Hardcore message board.

I'm still of the opinion that no favors are done to anyone by shitting on the competition... no matter how far back in the race they may be.

And... when it comes to a fed's management and their demeanor the only relevant issue is how they deal with their promotion's fans and nobody can say that UWA Hardcore management didn't have a good relationship with their fans.

i like them all for different reasons.

C4 shows are the best if you're a fan of mainstream indy wrestling or i guess tna by an extension. the action and talent are top notch and the booking is getting better and better. the bar is a great addition. if there wasnt a bar there then a few of my buddies probably wouldnt come, they just predrink and mooch off the cab lol. My only knock against them now is probably the venue and set up. It seems like there is always some confusion about tickets or when to let people in or when they are stopping food or booze service. I wish the cieling was higher and that the place looked more like a wrestling arena. I also understand that those are all out of marks control.

PCW is a favorite of mine only because it reminds me of an old episode of maple leaf wrestling. over the top characters old school style and the card is always a mystery. You also know what to expect. The hickster will bleed, linkin will get killed, and the show will be over before you know it. The thing that kinda sucks is that if you go to every show sometimes the wrestlers get a little repetitive and there are a few that hang out in the crowd and talk about stuff that fans probably shouldnt hear. PCW is worth a try for sure tho if u are a fan of old school wrestling.

CSE should have more shows than they do. if they start bringing in guys like uwa did or c4 does now i think more ppl will give Pat a chance and like the shows he puts on. I wish they were on regularly. If Pat could put on more of a different roster each show i think it would help a lot too. I think CSE is doing a really good job with advertising. Getting a few local celebrities always helps.

RWE is usually the place to go if you want to see some heavyweight wrestling. Everybody there is freaking huge. It reminds me of WCW before they started really using cruiserweights a lot. But RWE is a strange promotion. I havent been to a rwe show in a long time becuz i never know when they are. with all of the other promotions in ottawa i usually forget to check there site and when i do the show is like the next day or already passed. I dont know how they advertise but i remember their school was on tv a little while ago so i guess that helps.

UWA was fun when it lasted but probably not for the right reasons. The wrestling was surprisingly good but usually unpredictable. It the only place u will see somebody do a spot off of a basketball hoop. They could probably just attract fans who liked the violent stuff if they focused on that. the shows always seemed out of control but that was kind of fun for me. they seemed really indy and the venue was really good for the crowd size and they managed to sell booze which is still surprising.

yeah mike wrestling in ottawa might not be as strong as other places but i think its unique and we should appreciate it. if there were no shows in ottawa it would fucking suck.

Just an FYI - Rage has their show the first Saturday of every month.
