Main Show

Harley Davison came out to thank the fans for all their support when he was interrupted by OCW General Manager Adam P. Keaton who announced he would be taking a sabbatical from his role of OCW GM to run for Mayor of Kingston! Harley chased down the pompous GM to the back, but he was attacked by Catalyst, #1 contender and his opponent for that night. OCW Woman's Champion Persephone Vice and OCW Cruiserweight Champion CJ Felony joined in on the beatdown, knocking Harley senseless with a steel chair and leaving him lying as Keaton announced Felony would be taking over his team of Diamonds and Destruction while he ran for Mayor.

Match 1: "Big Sugar" Shaun Macmillan w/"Incredible Hunk Idol" winner Ryan defeated Danny Franchise via Trouble in Candyland pinfall. After the match, Shaun fired the contest winner, stating he didn't measure up

Match 2: OCW Woman's Champion Persephone Vice w/ OCW General Manager Adam P. Keaton defeated Jodi Demilo via big boot pinfall to retain the championship

Match 3: Thomas Leeroy Cooter defeated "Magnum" Mike Maniacal via Pump Handle Slam Pinfall

Match 4: OCW Tag Team Champions The Barbarians (Myzery and Damien), Mr. James Cash, and Taylor defeated The 5th Avenue Mob (Payne, McGuire, Manson, and Sak Daddy) w/ "The Dutchess" Savannah to retain their championship via Claw Slam pinfall. After the match, 5AM challenged The Barbarians to one last tag team title match at OCW's National Disaster, to which The Barbarians agreed

Match 5: OCW Cruiserweight Champion C.J Felony defeated Shocker via Felonizer DDT pinfall. Shocker had Felon pinned and referee G.D.P even counted to 3, but the referee soon realized that Felony's foot was on the rope and restarted the match which lead to Felony hitting the Felonizer DDT and scoring the pinfall.

Match 6: "Asian Nightmare" Kwan Chang w/ OCW GM Adam P. Keaton defeated RJ City and Rip Impact via Near Death Experience pinfall. Keaton had distracted the referee while Kwan nailed Rip with his kendo stick, threw City out the ring, and hit Impact with his Near Death Experience finish for the win.

Main Event: OCW Unified Champion Harley Davison defeated Catalyst w/ OCW GM Adam P. Keaton via Kickstand pinfall. After the match, Keaton and Catalyst beat down Davison until Thomas Leeroy Cooter ran out for the save. He brawled with Catalyst to the back, Keaton not far behind, leaving Harley to be attacked by "Big Sugar" Shaun Macmillan who challenged the champion to give him a shot at the OCW Unified Title at "National Disaster". Harley agreed but only if contested in a tables match. "Big Sugar" agreed and Harley ended the show celebrating witht he fans.

OCW has definitely set off on a good start in Kingston and deserves congratulations for running a successful first year. Many new Ontario feds never get past the third show so kudos to Roy and everyone involved for achieving what they have.

While I personally haven't had the chance to check out an OCW show I have been watching their progress with keen interest.

The OWIE offices have received a number of messages about OCW since their inception - not all of them complimentary. It seems that for OCW, like for many other promotions that DON'T fail miserably, there are a group of people who want to sling mud at both the management and the in-ring product.

Those negative "reviews" make for interesting reading but I think the more telling point is that despite what those few (but prolific) OCW detractors tell me Ontario Championship Wrestling seems to be making some fans in Kingston very happy.

And ain't that what it's all about?

If the fans are happy...
If the venue owners/operators are happy...
If the boys (and girls) working the shows are happy...

Then what's the issue?

There's room in Ontario indy for OCW. They deserve to be here. They earned their place.

Everyone else should stay the fuck out of Kingston and let them do their thing. (Just sayin.)

OCW has made a real effort to give chances to people who work hard, and who wouldn't ordinarily get them.  Prior to OCW, a guy like Hangman (Walker) was never put into a role where he could get over.  Roy decided that because he works so hard for OCW, that he would give him an opportunity (sink or swim) to get over. And because Walker works as hard as he does, he is one of the most over babyfaces in the company.

That doesn't mean that OCW is doing everything perfectly, either, though.  We are aware that there are problems with the product, and we are aware that some people disagree with our direction.  That's okay.  We're not perfect, nor do we pretend to be, and we welcome any and all criticisms. We can't learn from our mistakes if we aren't fully aware of them.

I'm proud of what OCW has accomplished in a very short period of time.  Monthly sell-out shows, a local television deal, hungry homegrown talent that wants to work hard and entertain, and a fun family product that I am not ashamed to recommend to anybody who enjoys live pro wrestling.
