I can understand people judging Leo, Claude, and Marty on their working/ wrestling ability cause they have seen them in action.

However, running a promotion is a different matter - plenty of successful feds are run by non-wrestlers (Mark P. - C*4, Mike Rotch - ISW)

Surely "shitty workers" can run a fed just as successfully as non-workers, in the case of Leo, Marty, and Claude, it remains to be seen.

Regarding those that are concerned with Ottawa getting over-saturated, it is my understanding that OWE is planning to have their first show in some little hick town called Russell.

Time for my two cents for what it's worth. Fine, I'm not a good manager, it's something I have never done before. My ring experience was back in the 80's and lasted under a year. I didn't wrestle for the money, it was for the love of the business.

As for running a promotion, I have been a marketing executive for a number of companies all over this country for the last 20 years. Running a promotion is a good chunk of marketing and the rest is knowing what you are marketing. I have been to at least one show from every promotion in this city to check out the talent. I've seen good, I've seen bad, and I've seen terrible. There seems to be quite a few people that seem to think I can run a decent show, especially our major corporate sponsor, who for the moment will remain anonymous.

I brought Marty on board to take care of setting up the venue on show dates, and yes I plan to book him in the ring occasionally, he could use the practise. I brought Claude in because he knows more of the wrestlers than I do, that's why I put him in charge of Talent Relations. He will also wrestle occasionally. Myself, I am just going to host the events and be the ring announcer and run the promotion.

We will be booking talent that each and everyone of you has seen and liked before and try to give some of the new talent just graduating from their individual schools a chance for their first matches so at least when they are out there try to get booked they can at least say they started somewhere.

Some of you are talking about ettiquette and the like, well why don't you do the same and come to our first show and check it out and then you can diss is all you want because then you have the information to formulate a proper opinion.

Remember, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and right now your's stinks.

PS to you spelling and grammar police, no spell check needed.
