CAN'T MISS???

Watch me...

I like Max Alexander and the Joker's Wild, but it'll take more than what has been announced thus far to get me to drive to Casselman.

Hmmmm, this event or ACCLAIM??

Capt. Leo will have his work cut out for him. In all fairness, I have nothing against the main event, Kryss Thorn , Doink (cough, cough) and Castor McFear are all experienced workers, no reason why this shouldn't be a great match, but,

I think MVP vs Steve Corino will be just a tad better.  Wink

Yeah, that's also going to make it a tough seller to the Ottawa market.

Seriously guys - I am sure Kryss Thorn and Caster McFear(d) can accept the fact that the show they are working on - is complete shit.  Furthermore, guys - don't be pussies and try to spare scumbags like Capt. Leo Frost and Claude Prest's feelings.

Shows like this are what will kill the local scene.  It happened to Montreal, it'll happen here.

Be smart consumers - and call promotions out on their shit!

Some honest to goodness criticism and opinions, here.  I won't be an asshole about it...

"Doink" is a pathological liar, who is not really an experienced worker - and for the most part - has only worked shows he's booked.  Used to claim he was trained by Killer Kowalski, worked Big Japan Pro Wrestling, and is regularly scouted by WWE.  I had a friend who went to college with him, too - and the lies stack up to the ceiling.

Kryss Thorn is a good entertainer, and Caster McFear is, as well.  A singles match would be a much better main event.

Hickster has never been my type of wrestler.  I don't like the overweight redneck Hogan schtick.  It's not fun, or funny.  The Amish guy is sloppy as heck.  They have the "xtreme rules" gimmick in place, and it will protect their shortcomings as wrestlers - but this is a match I'd pass on.

Nothing wrong at all with Max Alexander vs. Alex Silva.  Max is an incredibly capable wrestler, and Silva has improved a ton - and has one of the best overall "looks" in Quebec indy wrestling.  It'll be the match of the night, but that's not saying much.

The Jokers Wild are one of those teams who pops up every now and then, and I can't really say much about them.  The gimmick gets over with kids, and they've been doing this a long time.  They're good in the ring.  Are the Young Guns Cecil Nyx and Hamilton?  If so, I've seen - and used - Nyx, and he's coming along great.  I've seen one Hamilton match, and it was good - but I've heard he's coming along slowly.  With the clowns leading, it could be good.

There's a place for this promotion - but only if they stay in Casselman.  Their cards would not hold up in Ottawa.  The main event is a huge miss with Doink in the mix.  The tag match could be hit or miss.  The Xtreme Rules match isn't one I'd get excited about.

As of right now, this is only a one match card.

If Prest books himself, it's a throw away show.

At least it doesn't look like he's putting himself in the main event...
