BIG ANNOUNCEMENT...

You thought raising money for a great cause was enough incentive to attend Wrestling With ALS on October 3rd? The ALS Society and Moonshine Branded Wrestling has even more.

Pledge forms are now available to fans attending the October 3rd fundraiser. Those pledge forms automatically gain entry into the show (However, require a minimum of $10 raised) and give the holder a chance at an amazing prize.

The individual who raises the most pledges will win a PlayStation 3.

Moonshine Branded Wrestling would like to thank the ALS Society and all of it's sponsors for making this incentive possible.

To receive a pledge form via e-mail or Canada Post, send the appropriate address to

Open Letter To Wrestling Fans,

When the transition was made from Triple “X” Wrestling to Moonshine Branded Wrestling, the intent was to bring the current Triple “X” Champion, Viking, along and declare him the inaugural champion.  However, as is know in many wrestling circles, Viking has taken what seems to be a retirement, if not an extended leave of absence from wrestling.
With this in mind, and with MBW’s desire to kick off it’s inaugural event with something special, and present a championship contest on October 3rd’s Wrestling With ALS (77 Division Street, Welland), the only decision that could be made was to strip Viking of the championship.
That now leaves the championship vacant and leaves MBW with having to award that championship.  How we will do that is in a four man elimination match to take place, of course, on October 3rd at Wrestling With ALS.
We look forward to the support for Moonshine Branded Wrestling, supporting our newly crowned champion and most of all, support the ALS Society.
Please remember that EVERY SINGLE PENNY from ticket sales and EVERY SINGLE PENNY raised via pledge forms is donated to this great cause.  It is in memory and appreciation of a very special man, and the support of the entire wrestling community could put a huge beat down on this disease.
   See everyone on October 3rd.

Sincerely,
Terry Mathis

Time to fill the holes…

Last week it was announced that due to the retirement of Viking, a brand new champion would be crowned at Wrestling With ALS. It was also announced that there would be a Four Man Elimination Match to crown that champion. Well here are the four competitors in that match and, of course, for that championship.

Justin Sane…
If you have not seen this young man, you sure as hell need to.
From time to time there are wrestlers who do not utter a word, yet everyone gravitates to them, feeds off of them and is intensified by them. Justin Sane is from that same cloth of wrestler.

“Hacker” Scotty O’Shea…
When anyone constructs a list of Ontario’s most solid, most charismatic and most competitive wrestlers, “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea is a first ballot entrant on that list. And as much as people may argue about who should and who should not be on that list. “Hacker” is always someone who should.

Rip Impact…
Another man who deserves a place on any Top Of Ontario Indy listing. Rip Impact comes across as little bit of an enigma. He’s not the type to brag, he’s not the type to get in someone’s face and he’s not the type to get what he wants by any means necessary. Yet, he continues to get amazing results throughout not only Ontario, but North America.

Warhed…
“One of these things is not like the other, one of these things is kinda the same.” Warhed may not seem to fit in with the other three competitors in this match, but he sure as hell deserves to be in there. He is ranked as one of the toughest on the Ontario Indy scene. He is considered one of the most charismatic figures on the Ontario Indy scene. And he also has a love of wrestling rivalled by few others. Plus, he is the original Triple “X” Wrestling Champion.

Big Announcement Update...

It has come to my attention that the ALS Society Of Canada, who by the way has gone above and absolute beyond with backing this show, has upped the ante for what the top pledge collector can win.

In addition to winning a brand new Playstation 3, as was announced a couple weeks ago, whomever collects the most pledges in support of Wrestling With ALS will also win a copy of SmackDown vs. RAW 2011.

I cannot thank the ALS Society and all of our sponsors for making these initiatives possible and for showing such amazing support to this show.

Tons more announcements to come folks.
